Here’s the latest (2025) update in simple terms:
✅ What Is MM2H?

A long-stay, multiple-entry visa (not Permanent Residence).

Lets you live in Malaysia with your spouse, children (up to 34 years old), and even parents.

You must stay at least 90 days a year in Malaysia.
🔑 New Rules (Since 2024 – MM2H 3.0)
There are now 3 categories:

Fixed Deposit: ~USD 150,000

Visa valid: 5 years (renewable)

Property purchase min: RM600,000

Fixed Deposit: ~USD 500,000

Visa valid: 15 years

👉 You can withdraw up to 50% of your Fixed Deposit (after 1 year) for property, medical or education expenses.

Offshore income proof is no longer required (only FD needed).
